OBLIVIOUS

So, last week we did the END TIMES ALPHABET and I was surprised at some of the responses I received.
Pleasantly so.
One person suggested we redo the alphabet, plugging in more of the Biblical terminology available.
I thought that was a great idea so I challenged him and other readers to do just that.
Heck…I might even do that sometime.
But………………………………………………
That wasn’t the idea of last week.
Last week was to make a case of the fact that we are hurtling at warp speed into a world scenario that the Bible predicted centuries ago (this is where the desert wind sound effects should be coming out of your speakers).
For those of us all who have a basic grasp (and belief) of Biblical Prophesy, the writing is on the wall (which that term, by the way, comes from the Bible, the book of Daniel, in fact).
Now that realization brings me to this week’s post…………..

OBLIVIOUS
So many different things are vying for our time and attention these days and who has time to study the Bible anyhow?
In fact, most people are looking anywhere BUT the Bible to find answers to life’s questions.
Or…they’re totally ignorant of anything being wrong in the first place.
I spoke with a man this week that drove that point home with all the finesse of a hydrogen weapon.
“Hey, Henry…I read your post last night. I really didn’t understand it, though.”
“Really? I thought it was pretty straight-forward.”
“Oh, maybe I’m just oblivious to it all.”
Hmmm…………………………………………………………………………….
Now, not only was last week’s post about the world heading for a crash that had been predicted long ago,
It was also an Alter Call of sorts in that at the end I put out the Gospel message of turning away from sin and turning to God through Jesus Christ.
So…..I’m wondering…………….
Wherein does this OBLIVIAN lie….
Is it to the end of the world as we know it?
OR
Is it to the Gospel message of Jesus dying for our sin and conquering death once for all?
Either way, it’s a sad commentary on our nation and the Church that resides within her boarders.
And, just in case you are OBLIVIOUS of something currently going on in your world ……..
