Two days gone, one remaining until the end of time as we know it.
One day that we know little about, one day that every human either looks forward to…or dreads.
No, it’s not Judgement Day…by this day that will be all wrapped up…a done deal.
Satan has been cast into the Lake of Fire, and every human who has rejected the free offer of Salvation in Jesus is there as well for all eternity.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him (1 Cor 2:9 KJV).
THE DAY OF GOD
This, my friends, is the culmination of Earth’s ages-the end of time as we know it-as we stand upon the shore of Eternity and take the hand of God and start walking with Him in His abode…His heavenly realm.
And it is also the day we know least about……….
The DAY OF GOD refers to the eternal state. It follows the final phase of the Day of the Lord when the heavens and Earth will be destroyed.
So, let’s review…. Just as the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord MUST be preceeded by the Day of Jesus Christ, the Day of God MUST be preceeded by the Day of the Lord.
You see, the DAY OF GOD is NOT the time in which the final destruction of everything as we know it takes place.
All that will occur first.
One way to see this played out is to be found in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. All the bad stuff happens to the world as we know it and then at the end of the final book of the Bible, one last invitation is given to mankind to enter into an eternal state with it’s Creator.
Listen, BAD STUFF IS COMING…..REALLY!
But, because of the Lord Jesus Christ…….
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A PART OF THE FINAL CONFLICT!!!
The God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-is offering you a full pardon if you will only turn to Him by faith in the work of His Son Jesus.
He died in your place and walked out of the grave to prove His unstoppable love for you.
Ask Him to forgive you.
Ask Him to save you.
Ask Him to be your Lord and your God.
He won’t let you down!
Even so, Come Lord Jesus!
